Explanation of my spelling of “Premenpausal”: I was thinking about an archetypal female experience. Menopause is an opportunity to “pause” as we rethink what it means to be female, and how we, without the very insistent push from hormones, relate physically to the “men” we love.

This represents my wonder- filled- 40- plus- years with my beloved Mark,. If I have to be at home with almost no social interaction for months , I am blessed to be living with my very best friend, companion and lover. We have been most happily at home together on our second honeymoon. And we do stick together like glue.

“Covid 19 – Fear and Hope”

This piece  is based on my experience with my initial fear of the “VIRUS” and my decision to continue joyfully in the midst. It reads from left to right with the rigid as the pressure of fear, and the right side is me saying to my fears I intend to live lovingly, joyfully and always with hope. “Covid 19- Fear ad Hope” is hand sewn and embroidered silk on linen with cotton, metallic and hemp floss and thread 48″x48″ .
